頭の第6-7 横断面画像を用い,枝肉の評価に慣れた5 人の判定者から肉眼的な脂肪交雑の小ザシの印象に関する評価値を得た.画像解析値より得られた複数の小ザシ評価指標を比較し,肉眼的評価値との相関分析を行った.遺伝的パラメーターの推定には,黒毛和種25,432 頭を用い,単形質および二形質アニマルモデルを使用した.選定した30 頭におけるロース芯面積およびBMS No. の範囲はそれぞれ55 から121cm2 および10 から12 であった.肉眼的な評価値と脂肪交雑粒子の周囲長の総和をロース芯面積で除した値(NFI-2)との相関係数は−0.81 で最も強い相関であった.NFI-2 の遺伝率は0.55
