Ten types of herbaceous roots led to increase thec values and three led to increase theφvalues. The ⊿c(c value increases) of MF, TF(N), RCG, TF(D) and ChF showed larger than the cblank (c values of soil). Leaves and stemswell grew with rich root system development of these five types of plants. Meanwhile, PRG showed the largest φ values ofthree types (PRG, RCG and HF) whose the φ values increased. Also, PRG had the largest values of dry weight of root andshoot and root length of all plants. Although the number of growers of RCG and HF was small, root dry weight per plantshowed large values.
